Dr. med. Gnther Rudolf Wilhelm Brandt was a Korvettenkapitn of the Reserves with the Kriegsmarine during World War II and a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. He was also with a Costal Raider Unit of the Brandenburgers in 1943.
